My credo
In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
If you're talking about the 1991 in your profile, that should be a ttb front end. There are eccentric bushings that you use to adjust camber. You normally have to get bushings with a larger degree of adjustment. Try to get some with +/- 4.5 degrees or more.

Small lofts with the ttb front end are difficult because they usually just push the outer end of the axle beam down by using taller springs or spring spacers. So the beam pivots on an arc and that causes the camber problems. Larger lifts involve brackets that lower the pivot end of the axle beam at the same time that the longer springs push down the wheel end of the axle beam. That keeps the geometry close to being the same as it originally was.

This article explains it really well.

There are some companies that make axle pivot brackets for lifts smaller than 4" to correct camber issues. Tuff Country is one of them. I have a set of these for sale, they're for lifts in the 1.5-2.5" range, although I don't remember who made these. I ran these with 1.5" leveling springs, and you could probably even add one of those coil spring spacer leveling kits underneath and get ~3" of lift with these and still be able to get the alignment in spec.

That_4.0_Ranger,

I have a 2" suspension lift on my Ranger and a 4" suspension lift on my BII. I bought the increased camber kit for the BII and never needed it.

You shouldn't have any problem whatsoever aligning up to a 4" lift.

yea theres no camber problems with the 4in lift i because of all the drop brackets but did you have problems with camber on the 2in lift?

That_4.0L_Ranger,

The 2" lift has all the drop brackets as well. Though not original to my Ranger, it is a stock Ford factory Hi-rider complete 2" suspension lift. It presented zero alignment issues.

Though after 26 years on my truck I need to replace the front coil springs and rebuild the rear spring packs; I have a set of Skyjacker Softride 2" coils and will be grabbing a set of old Explorer spring packs to build the rears.

$100 or best offer. I have all the bolts for them too. You may or may not need drop brackets with a 2" lift, but it seems that every Ranger is a little different. Some people can put leveling springs in their truck and be set, and others end up with excessive positive camber that can't be adjusted out. That's why I then got these brackets. But you may or may not need them, and you really won't know until you put taller springs in.
