Just like the title asks.. because there's no way to adjust it..

BIG SURPRISE.... but im getting jerked around by a shitty stealership. I'm just trying to get my facts straight before I go in there incredibly pissed off.

Please save the dealership sympathizing until I get the whole story up here.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
About the only alignment i know for the rear is to try and make sure that the axle is perpendicular to the frame and pinion angle properly set. That is, assuming a solid rear axle which I believe all the pre-2011 Rangers have.

Now that I have a minute, here's the story.

Bought my truck at rowe Ford in auburn maine on presidents day. Part of the deal was that they were to supply and install a leveling kit, which they ordered the day I bought it and it arrived and got installed 2 weeks later.

When it was in for the leveling kit I told them I wanted them to change my oil as the truck had a little over 1200 miles on it. I picked the truck up happy as a clam with its new tires and new stance. Got home and while looking over the work order I noticed it said nothing about changing my oil.

I called the service department and asked why they didn't change my oil and they said it wasn't needed until 5k miles, which is true, but when your paying customer asks you to do something.. like... mabey do it? Whatever.

Fast forward to last Friday, rolled over 5k miles and made an appointment for a change and a tire rotation. Also noticed my front tires are wearing extremely uneven, took a few steps back and with the amount of positive camber my truck appeared to have its no wonder! Told the dealer about this, and that I would like them to put it on the rack and see what the deal is.

Dropped my truck off Sunday night, on the wrong side of the building apparently (I wanted quick-lane which is on the right side, I dropped it off on the left, whoops). Picked it up yesterday afternoon.

I know I parked it on the wrong side of the building because when I went in on that side, they said my truck was on the other side of the building.. despite it being parked in the same exact spot.. right in front of the door I walked in.

I go around to the other side of the building, get told my tires are wearing perfect (they're not), got my alignment sheet which shows everything in spec oddly enough.. but I accepted it, oil was changed, tires rotated, washer fluid filled. I went home.

This morning, I noticed my tires were NOT rotated. No way. Pissed. Turned the truck on, and it tells me the washer fluid is still low. Omfg.

Thinking about everything on my way to work... I started to suspect that they didn't even touch my truck. This is supported by the fact that when I picked the truck up yesterday, in the same spot I left it, After a second of running, the radio switched itself from the Bluetooth input to FM.. which it will do when it doesn't connect to its paired Bluetooth device. I only listen to pandora through my phone. If they had even started my truck for 3 seconds, when I picked it up.. it should of been on FM already...

Get to work. Look at my oil. Its not that nice new oil golden color... It's the perfect shade of 5k mile brown. They didn't touch my truck! No goddamn way. What alignment sheet did they give me? One made of bull$hit.

I'm so beyond fuming. ANOTHER stealership.

Yikes...

Sounds like you got a raw deal really.

I would be beyond fuming... but seriously... this incident should NOT be made into an all dealership thing.

I would suggest taking a deep breath and approaching the dealer in a calm collected manner. I wouldn't hold back an ounce of disappointment or dissatisfaction... just do it in a controlled mannerism.

I agree with Gump. That service department is a bad one. But not all of them are.

Ask for the manager or even the owner if dealership if necessary. State your case using the facts. Don’t exaggerate. Remain polite and professional but very firm.

Same opinion here... they screwed up and you're right to be upset. Just try to convey all the legitimate frustration and anger in a measured way.

Make sure it is your Vin number on the sheet ..

They may have looked at the wrong truck.

And the rear axle rarely is 0 toe 0 camber.

And if I worked out of it.....no fawking way it's still straight.

Is Ford still doing the black oil filter from the factory?

If so that be a easy way to know, if it has a black filter it hasn't been changed, all over the counter ones are white.

I poop in the furnace.

Put this on your oil filter, oil fill cap, and lug nuts next time (or a paint pen). If it's not broken they didn't touch it. This is what we use at work to see if the mechanics screwed with something they weren't meant to.

Edit - also get a dash cam. Can save your butt in an accident where you need to argue who's fault it is, but also you can leave it on and see what the mechanics do to your truck. I have dash cams in everything I own, they are as cheap as $30 now for good full HD. $30 to save you from needing a lawyer to argue if the accident was your fault or if the mechanic actually moved your truck? No brainer...

Hundreds of these videos are on YouTube.

I didn't end up going by today. Much too mad. Came home from work, got ripped, and slept it off.

Upon waking up I saw I got a text from my service advisor insisting they rotated my tires, and that they'd like me to come in and view the footage from the shop camera.

I know it's not my truck, but I'll take a look at it tomorrow.

Somebody else's truck definitely got the service I was supposed to. Probably the truck that belongs to the wrong set of keys they gave me at first when I was picking it up.

I agree with others. Don't go in mad. Go in and calmly ask what happened. Don't demand that they make it right, but give them the opportunity to offer. I suspect they will.

And by the way, a dealership that doesn't do service that you've asked for (an oil change at 1500 miles), because it's not needed, is worthy of respect. They don't want you to pay for unnecessary work, whether you're willing to pay for it or not.
