I was checking over my work a couple weeks ago when I replaced all my tie rod ends. Good thing I did, apparently I blew out the boot greasing the passenger side

Luckily I was able to carefully use some picks to pull the retention spring up and out of the way and push the boot back into place.

While I had my tire off, I wanted to check out the camber adjustment bc I think it's set wrong. I still need to do a tape measure alignment but the toe in/out didn't change much/any when I did the tie rods bc I kept all the same measurements.

That being said, I cleaned up the adjustment area and grabbed a pic.

What should this be set at for a neutral camber?
Also, in the 2nd picture you can see it's not flush with the knuckle. Should it be? It's probably 1/4" from being flush.

Thanks!

Only the alignment shop can set that correctly. I have not looked up your specific truck, but the factory spec is rarely neutral camber. Just like the toe is not neutral but toed in slightly.

Some guys do this at home and claim success, but it takes several tries since they are somewhat guessing since this adjustment also adjusts your caster at the same time. Get the caster wrong side to side and it will tend to pull to the left or the right.

My credo
If you don't have time to do it right will you have time to do it over?
/\ Like he said, tires are too expensive to trust a DIY alignment. Set the toe with a tape measure to get it in the ball park and drive to a shop for an alignment. Also, request that everything be set to the preferred specs, not just "in the green". To be in the green, settings need to be in the allowable range and that can bite you hard. For example, if the camber is at max allowable negative and the toe is at max allowable toe out(or minimum toe in), it will chew the inside tread off the tires.
