I have a 99 ford ranger 4x4 and I’m replacing the cab harness. But my question is will a cab harness from a 99 2 wheel drive work for my 4 wheel drive?

I'm going to say likely. Ford doesn't like to design to many variations there. It makes things too complicated on the assembly line.

The only way to know for sure would be if you can get a part number for both vehicles from Ford. I wonder if they keep that detailed of info that far back?
