Buying a Superlift...Maybe

Hey quite a good deal. Somebody near me is selling their superlift that came off their 98 ranger when he did a SAS. Here is the picture he sent me I just need some verification that all of the main stuff is there. Hardware I am most likely going to buy new stuff so not really worried about that. BTW I know those are the stock shackles. He is keeping the rear lift with his new swap.

don't reuse those brake hoses(cheap insurance), i also didnt see anything for the sway bar ir your worried about that kinda thing. other than that looks ok.

Yeah he is out putting out the fire in Redding CA that has burned some 120 odd buildings

Anyways hope he is willing to ship. By the way it sounds he wants me to drive about 12 hrs round trip.

And I asked him about the sway bar because my buddy who is gonna install it noticed too but the seller doesnt have cell phone service anymore so no response

Ok so no extension brackets for the sway bar. He said he didn't run it on his. What are the problems you can have without using it?

A little more body roll when cornering. On TTB Rangers it doesn't really matter too much but since you have a '98, I don't know.

If you don't carve corners like a racer then you'll be fine.

I have close to no boddy roll on my 99. even after the sas. I wouldn't worry to much about it. If you need some rear shackles let me know I can make some for ya. Just pay for the material and bring me a couple beers.

I'd be stoked to have you make some shackles for me! still waiting on him to come back from fighting the forest fire up in Redding.
