I would walk. I think he is high on the price. Bicker with him and see if he will drop the price.

Sounds high to me also.... Paid around $3500.00 for my 1995 two wheel drive about 5 years ago with 80 K from a used car lot.

Regards,
Chris M.

used prices on Rangers have gone way up in the past year, in Canadian thats not a bad price in my opinion. My '92 Ranger 2wd is worth $3400 right now according to Kelly Blue Book.

I bought a ranger for $150 too, doesn't mean thats what its worth. Hell, I bought my Jeep for $150, that shouldn't be used as a base for value of Jeeps though!

It is worth more than that for scrap...

$200/ton and U-Pull-It has at something like $350 minimum on their sign for a vehicle. One that runs and drives would be worth more.

Down here it would be worth it if it is as rust free as it looks, depending on how bad vehicles rust as a whole up there it may not.

I don't think it's a bad deal. It is just sort of on the edge. If it speaks to you, buy it. You never know what you get until you commit - sort of like a wife. Quit frowning at us.
