no offense, but that thing looks like it would implode if you actually used the hitch. The stock bumper looks stronger for towing! Unless you were being sarcastic or something, I don't know.

If by "built proof", you mean not able to build, then you're exactly right. :icon_twisted:
Honestly, it looks well built, just of poor design. :icon_thumby:
And I only say this because I know that ranger will haul more than that bumper is safe to handle.

honestly the picture does not do the bumper justice cause with that bumper i have towed more than a ranger has any business towing. Specs of bumper the tube is .120 wall 1.5" diameter bird mouth where it attachs to the c chanel which is boxed in the weak areas and attached to the frame by 8 half inch grade 8 bolts. So far i have towed a 16 ft fishing boat, 4x8 trailer with 1200 lb guad on it, chopper box full of fresh silage estimated weight 2 ton and a wagon full of square bales.

bet this is a lot stronger than it looks.

personally I don't like the fact that you can see through it, I would put some plate on the back side, then you could mount some sweet back up lights in there...

Side note, the only one it has to impress is you!!
