What it’s designed for and what happens after an inspired gear head get hands on it are two different things. Somebody somewhere will stuff a big block in one of these before you know it.......:D
I wish someone would stuff a 4bbl 460 and a 4 speed in a tesla just as a big **** you to the enviro nuts

I hate the electric car nazi's. Ok we get it you have instant power. Have fun sitting for 45 mins after you drive 100 miles like that.

Ford claims they will release 2 Broncos a bronco 2 size and a full size they also announced a Bronco truck. To compete with the gladiator. The full size is suppose to be a full frame vehicle with the v6 eco boost and possibly a 5.0 with a 10 speed auto, Ford is also developing a 7 speed manual transmission called the MT88. They have applied for patents on storage of doors etc in the rear of the vehicle. This information that ive typed above seems to be the most consistent from the spy pages and groups.
Lets see...
7 speed, wish for a solid front and rear axle. ,Damn, put a 2 cylinder B&S engine in it and it sounds just like my Craftsman Lawn Tractor.
And, mine mows grass!!!

It wasn't that long ago that people would say that a manufacturer would NEVER put a 7 speed in a consumer vehicle.. Along with saying "you'll never be able to buy another car off the lot that'll have this kind of horsepower when talking about a 320 HP "muscle car"

But look where we are now...

Also, don't forget that there are already several 8 speed automatics on the market right now, and some also have a manual shift mode.. We're getting there.

it is easier to fix and understand than "her"
options are options.

the concept of the cd6 and the long in the tooth now t6 platforms are highly malleable. you can easily make several systems on the same line...you could have troller style straight front axle...raptor style hd super wide long travel front axle and the normal system on the same line.

as in a super trail version a super desert runner version...and the current all around setup that is fine for overlanding and soccer practice.

will it happen....who knows. but they wont have to sell the rangers too long to have the money turned round to do the next big thing.

if this bronco is as 1/4 as bad ass as they are hyping.....i will be wanting. the bronco truck would kill the ranger though.

and the jeeps. 2 door jeeps will be doomed.

I might consider buying one to replace the 2011 after the 2019 is paid off. Maybe, assuming I can't talk the girlfriend into dumping her P.O.S. Nissan Versa clown car.

2014. The CVT took a dump once already. Replaced under warranty but Nissan CVTs are a known big problem and a subject of lawsuits.

I don't believe I've ever been excited for a new vehicle launch... but this new Bronco has me chomping at the bit.

Im guessing itll be unveiled at the detroit auto show in january. I may have get rusty 2.0 ready to fight detroit traffic.

I am never, repeat never, driving my F250 up there again. Parking a long box ext cab 3/4ton in a parking garage designed for CR-Vs n shit is not fun.

That is probably the plan... doubt I will go to the show.

I am truly excited by it though...

I thought about just building an early Bronco for my retirement vehicle. But to do it right... it would be near 30k investment. possibly more. For what I will do with it... my money is probably better spent on a new one.

Did they move spring to January this year?

The video from Ford in the first post said "world premiere spring 2020".
