I really want to know how those ride. That’s about the rating of an f150.

any idea what the free arch length is for a stock ranger? I’m finding 4” something and 6” and no info on what’s right.
Rough, but I have them for my 1988, 2011, and planned for my 1996

Yeah. My minimum spring pack is 2wd 150...the HD ones at that.

Wow. Shipping for leaf springs is insane. $100 shipping for $200 worth of springs. Might delay this fix a little longer.

Local Picknpull is $34 plus $5 core. I don’t particularly like the idea of putting on another set of old, possibly worn out springs tho.

Don't get them from another Ranger. Pick a set from a heavier application. Sport Trac springs are great, for example.

Yeah... were weight.

Real spring packs are heavy

In Michigan dealing with old springs sucks. They are stress risered out from rust ...you have to cut the bolts to get them off because if it's more then 5 years old it's grown together....so your pressing bushings no matter..so more time and money....



This is ok most of the time when I am building custom packs....

and you do get lucky at times and find fresh springs and hangers and it all comes apart .

Though for the price...I have been buying the china crap from Michigan truck spring every few years....If I catch the sale right I get the HD for 100 each.

Compared to 50 to 75 from yard.
