Funny how your 3/4 ton has IFS and your Ranger has a SFA.

+1 on what lil_blue said.

The 6.0L will take on any factory tuned Ford 460 in towing when similarly equipped....Don't sell'm short.

On a side note, get that thing an intake tube that doesn't flatten out...it was worth 2mpg on our shop truck. A tuner that gets rid of the factory torque management will really waken the thing up and give it a lot better response as well.

If you can't go through it or around it, then go over it.
yeah .... I was talking to a farmer the other day that has a 2500 4x4 with a 6.0L and he is claiming 18 mpg hwy and 15 towing his 33' travel trailer .........

everybody I talk to that has a 6.0L powered motorhome likes it .... claim no problems on the hills but it sucks down the fuel .... 8-9 mpg.
