Bleeding clutch

Ok have opened bleeder and have had about a 1/4 bottle of dot 3 drain threw keeping reservoir full. And still no clutch? Should I have someone be pumping clutch petal while I'm under truck bleeding? Or have some one hold clutch in kinda like bleeding brakes?? Any suggestions?

Had a buddy stop by had him pump the clutch hold down as I opened ad closed bleeder. Just like doing calipers
It worked have a clutch again.
