Yeah I wanted the stainless for corrosion resistance, but it being pretty is a bonus! Gotta stay federally compliant just in case someone decides to check.That's exactly how I ran the exhaust on my stepside truck. I used the factory flange and welded some pieces of exhaust tubing up to build an adapter for 2.25" tube. Works super good and that spot in the frame is just perfect for hanging the last bit of pipe on. Mine is not nearly as pretty or legal as yours is so I won't post any pics.
