Yes it still runs through the radiator and plumbing it into the existing line was not difficult at all. Attaches at the upper line / upper radiator port with barb fitting adapters. All I had to do was slightly push the OEM hard line over a bit to make room for the rubber lines. No cutting required. Plumbing it was the easiest part of the process. I'll take a pic of how the hoses are hooked up when I go outside.
One question, did you need to add extra trans fluid after installing the cooler? And if so, how much?

My credo
Lead follow or get out of my way
You will probably have to add some... the amount will be dependent on how large the cooler is. You will most likely loose some during installation also. So put in the amount you lost then check it like normal and add to the full line.

Any time you add to a system that holds a fluid, there is going to be a need to add more than the OEM spec calls for. It just goes with the territory.
