I'm fixing up my dads '79 f250 4x4 and i'm currently painting the axles and going through the brakes. It needs at least new rear springs, but i've decided to just get a suspension lift kit so i for sure get all the parts i need. Just based on price the plan, so far, is to go with a 4 inch rough country lift with rear springs. So, my question is does anyone know of a place that can beat the cheapest price i found of $876 shipped? (it has a dana 44 front) and since i'll eventually get to putting the body on the frame i also need a complete body bushing and bolt kit too. I haven't looked at all for that, but if someone knows where i can pick up a set that would be great too. thanks

My credo
Fix it till its broke!
Just check the usual 4x4 hear sites. Not much else besides Ebay or craigslist.

That's probably not a bad price

The price i found was $760 and the shipping was $116.

The kit is going on a f250, so it has leaf springs front and back not coils. I priced around a few places just for springs and they were higher than the complete RC kit which has all the hardware and shocks. and the old hardware didn't survive, the rust in spots was pretty bad. Both of the rear shackles were rusted through.
