you can use use the 4.8/6.0 flywheel options.
i tend to use the camaro setups 98-02. at least when using the 5.3.
drifting is a little tricky with the older trans in regards to gearing selection. make sure you match your target rpm with the proper gearing for tire height.
there is a step difference on the early 6.0...the all iron one. that can cause issues with bell setup.
we have put the t5 and 435 and ar5 cdoo9 and 40 style....certain toyota and ax15s.....and several others behind the 5.3 and 6.0

did you look at summit and speedway??. we buy stuff from there for our rigs and they have a good knowledge base....american powertrain as well. but they are not as helpful unless spending 12 grand to install in a car you use twice a year is your thing and then spend 12 more to dial it in later....

i have gotten away with the grease method several times. so far not tripped up, but i know some that have had issues. also with using the chinesium rear engine covers and main seal issues.
edit again.... if you swap to the hydro setup get the remote bleed kit for sure and get at least a 24 inch line.....30 is better.
take your time measuring the offset.... i have used the ranger master with a an adapter on a t56 application before but we did mod the throw on it....but it was converting to a manual from an auto and using a rjm pedal. i assume you are starting with a stock manual truck.
