got the duplicolor DIY bedliner. wasn't hard just long. i think im going to take it further down the bed rails.

looks good.. but on the side note.. you might want to add some more layers.. get it built up at least 1/16th or 1/8.... it will scratch off.. i sprayed my rockers with it an it was think.. i was able to scratch it pretty good.. so then i did it in layers an built it up about an 1/16th to an 1/8th an its been great.

ya im going to going to get some more of it tomorrow. i put the second coat on thick as hell. just have to figure out how to get it built up on the bed rails.

it took me all day i started at 10 and finished around 6. i sanded the crap out of it though and then you have to let it dry for 2 hours in between coats

i know this is an old thread but everybody says "search first!" so my question is for those that use the duplicolor kit, what kind of texture does it leave? the pics on here make it look slick and not very rough. i've used the herculiner stuff before and it had a nice rough texture but i don't have a lot of money and the duplicolor stuff is almost have the price for me for a gallon.

Please don't get on here and tell me the pro spray on liners are a better way to go... i know that i've done my research but i just want to protect the bed i'm not hauling every day.

personally i wouldnt use it in the bed...it just isnt tough at all, it does good on body pamels but in the bed it wont last long at all

the texture is like some light sandpaper
