Bed sags on 1 side

On my truck, the bed sags on 1 side pictured below.

I measured the distance from the frame to the top of the leaf spring and found that the right side is about 1" lower than the left. My first thought was the spring must be worn out on the right. I replaced both springs and the problem is still there. What else could be causing this. could the shackles be bad, or is the frame twisted somehow, etc.

It doesn't look like the front is sagging though, would cranking up my torsion bar fix it if they're worn?

Hard to say

Frame may be rotten at the joiner and tweaked....many things possible. Ala trucks usually are better.

Need to check it.

Right side springs wear faster than the left, roads crown up to the left so the right side takes the most abuse. Check for physical damage from rust, bent stuff etc but it's not uncommon to just have the right springs flatter from typical use. When I use to build leaf springs I always made them slightly taller on the right to compensate for this. I assume Australian spring makes did the opposite.

Look at the bed mounts. If it's like my 1998 was, the mount had rusted away. I fabricated a new mount and replaced the bed bolt and clip nut to fix it.

Your picture is small, but is the right side of the box a different colour?

If so I would suspect accident damage and have the truck checked at a frame shop.​

my 2000 looked about like that when it was new, except it's the front of the bed mis-aligned with the cab.

That's what I think it could be. The truck has a rebuilt title, but wouldn't it need to be inspected before getting that title. As far as damage, I can not see anything, and I have spent a lot of time examining the frame, just surface rust, and nothing bad. Now that I think about it, I don't know if it was like this when I got it. Since it is my work truck, I usually load stuff on that side first, but again, the springs are brand new and identical

Mine leans passenger about 3/4. I think most of mine is coming from the front being low on the passenger side.

They all tend to lean one way or another. It's not an easy task to get a perfect set of springs. You would think they would lean driver side... being it has the fuel tank... battery... and always the driver. But I've seen more lean the opposite.

I would put it on level ground and take a few measurements... Front and rear. Looks can be deceiving at times.
