Anyone have a good suggestion for Bed Rail Caps for a 2002 XLT RWD. My wife uses the truck for her landscaping business and it would be nice to protect what's left of the top of the bed rail paint from wear. I'm thinking adding black rail caps on the green truck might dress up the look at bit too. Thanks to all and Happy New Year!

I don't count birthday's anymore...just happy to be looking down at the ground instead of looking up
If yours is a short bed, there are several companies that still make the black caps. Just google them up.
If yours is the long 7 foot bed, your are S.O.L. No one makes them anymore for the 7 foot bed...I was looking for a year and couldn't even find a used set.

I poop in the furnace.
Wade makes a good set for the 93-11 rangers. Got a set on mine and they fit perfect. Put extra double sided tape on them first though, especially on the outer edges.

If it's not broken Don't Fix It!
Just like Dirtman said use extra cap tape to prevent them from wearing the paint since any movement will be the plastic wearing into the paint. a Home Depot trip will score you the needed tape. They do make bed liners with the over the rail covers on them. If she doesn't already have a liner this would be a good investment to protect from dents and dings in the bed metal/paint. Rhino lining or the like protects from scratches and dings but no protection from dents and that is where the liners come in as they protect from impacts from bricks, blocks and stones.
