Hey folks, my 98 4x4 3.0 Ranger is in about 1,233.53 pieces at this moment with $850.00 worth of front end parts sitting next to it. I was replacing my hub bearings, up grading to AVM hubs, steering knuckle oil seal, and my shocks.

In the process of beating my steering knuckle thousands of times repeatedly with sturdy objects and prying with a pickle fork to remove it, I managed to slice the boots on both the ball joints on the lower control arm. I thought I would live with it for now and deal with it when I have more patience and money but keep it greased. The issue is, the driver side ball joint now spins when I go to crank down on the nut for the steering knuckle. Does this mean its shot? If so, how on earth do I replace these? I tried to remove it but it seemed very wedged, do I need a press? I have a friend coming to help me in the morning and any help would be great!
