I swapped a 4.0 from a 92 explorer into my 90 bronco 2.
when i started it for the first time it was extreemly hard to start and smoked ALOT of white. i decided to take the heads off and see whats going on, i found a burnt exhausr valve in one cylider and tan colored cylinder walls in another. Iwas told that the valve is caused by a fuel issue but what caused on cyl to be a tan color and the rest to be shiny?
