bad bearing sound.

durring idle i hear what sounds like a bad bearing going around. its not too loud but it is certantly notacable. any ideas? bad altinator? pully? ect. or is there somthing more common with these engines? thanks guys

Manual or auto?
Don't know much about autos but on a manual it could be an input bearing or a throwout bearing.

is it a sqealing sound? maybe serpentine belt or idler pulley. they tend to make that type of noise when they go bad.

+2 check the idle pulley. And the tension pulley Mine has 1 of each not sure about yours.

In any case they should be fairly easy to fix. They should have a sealed bearing under the pulley. Pull the side cover of the sealed bearing off carefully and regrease them(they get old and dry). Put the seal back if you haven't killed it, and it should be good for at least another year.
