Don't want to keep the stock wheels, so what backspacing should I get for 33x10.5 tires? Same as stock (4.5" right?), 4.25", 4.00" or 3.75"?

I wouldn't mind if the track width was a hair wider than it is now (31x10.5 on 15x7 stock wheel).

Going with Procomp 15x7 or 15x8 98 series black steelies.

Thanks!

I think 4" backspacing would work just fine. that makes my 31x10.50's stik out just a bit. Looks good to me. :D

I agree with 4" it will put it out just a little more than it is now. if the 33's are gonna be 10.50 like your 31's than any difference will only be shown by how much backspacing you change and I'm pretty sure stock is 4.5" and the width of the rim wont change how much it sticks out so it's up to the backspacing whatever you think will look sweet :icon_thumby:

i had 3.75 on an 8 inch wide wheel. it was better than stock, after a while, i put 1.5" wheel spacers on it too with 33x10.50 and it looked a lot better. remember if its a 8" wide wheel with 3.75" backspacing, it will stick out 1' more than a 7" wide wheel.

well most stock wheels come with 4.25 bs so if you got a 15x8 with 3.75 it will actually stick out an 1 1/2" more than stock.

i would definitely recommend 15x8 with 3.75. it looks good

Well sounds like 4" bs on a 15x7 wheel (i like the square look and the bead will be a little safer from hits offroad).

Thanks guys.

Looks like I have to choose between 15x7 with 3.75" BS or 4.5" of BS.

I'm not a huge fan of wide track widths....

I'm also not sold on buying a set of wheels with the same BS as the stock wheels.

Now I'm just plain stuck on what to do. Maybe in a few days I can make a decision. Any suggestions? 3.75" BS vs. 4.5"?

3.75 all the way. its only a half inch wider on each side. it will make a difference but not huge. the tire will still be inside the fender

3.75" is by far the most common BS for 15s... If you want a little wider, then go for it. I normally would suggest 4.5" if someone is looking to put 15x10s on (it's a little easier on the wheel bearings with that size rim).
