I have a 86 B2.
I need some advice on what to do with it.
I beleive it needs a new ecm. It wont run long and then will run rough and die. Fuel pump in the frame still runs. Mechanic said it probably the ecm.
Shifts funny. Hard to discribe. mechanic said it the govnern on the back of the trans.
The interior is not to bad.
The body need repainted.
I did have the flywheel replaced. it brok.
I listed it for sale but have not got any bits.
So fix it and drive it. I can't to the trans so $400
ecm about $100
Repaint it. Myself/buddy help
Mechanic said I should think about a 302 swap.
What's your thoughts?

Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.
Is your price reasonable? Like you said.... it's a bit of a hot mess mechanically and it needs paint.

Reasonable enough to me 🤷‍♀️

If your gonna swap it, swap in something a little more unique than the 302. Idk what that would be... but the world is full of motors.. so there's no shortage of potential.

A 4 rotor wankel motor would be unique... and it would scream like a raped banshee.. in terms of both speed and sound.

I think the price and the fact you can't drive it away are killing the deal. Maybe if it needed just a transmission or it wouldn't run might make a difference.

People are/were buying these pretty regularly... I surprised you haven't had any bites honestly.

You can certainly post it here in the classified section. There is no charge for doing it. The only requirements are you post the price and a location.
