Really... a steel hub body?!? That would be a huge upgrade over pot metal.AVM has picked up where Warn dropped the ball. AVM pt# 465HP and 465XP replace Warn pt# 29071 and 37780 respectively.
I recently bought a pair of the 465XP... The hub body is steel and seems to be of decent quality, though I haven't yet put them to any real tests.
AVM includes a set of spindle nuts & locking washers with the hubs, so no separate purchase is needed if converting from auto hubs.
If I had some to throw out, you could have them. I never owned a TTB Ranger, not for lack of wanting one. Closest I ever came was my dad's '90 BII and it was still running the original auto hubs the last time I saw it, maybe around 2010. Still wish I'd gotten my hands on it when he sold it.All these fine people throwing out there old hubs, I'd sure like to catch a couple of em!
It just crossed my mind there should be a couple hubs on my Explorer. If I had some to throw out, you could have them. I never owned a TTB Ranger, not for lack of wanting one.
