The four speed cases are awesome, and I'd love to go that route if it was possible financially for me. I'd probably do axle gears before that, but since I don't street mine I don't need to worry about top end. From what I've read the lead times on the four speed cases are even longer, but they do seem to be accurate with what they're quoting to people. I'd rather deal with a place that tells me a long lead time and beats it than one that keeps pushing it out and making excuses personally...
Agreed on that! Excuses P&^S me off quick. Just tell me its gonna be 6 months and leave it at that.

Well, if I go with the 4 speed, thats my budget for the year gone! I'll let you guys know what I do in the end and how it works out. Its either this or a 4.0 swap. Thanks for all the advice!

Well I ended up ordering a Behemoth DIY Strongbox kit instead. Will give me the same ratios 2.48 without the strongbox in gear and around 5 with the strongbox engaged. This is a little better that an atlas 4 for less than half the price. It could be a little cheaper IMHO (its 1350 for th kit), as you need to supply your own plenary gears, but the housing and the one piece shaft will make things super solid. I will do a build thread on this in Dec, when I get it.

So in figuring out what the T-Case+doubler ratio is do I multiply or add the numbers? I think it is multiply, so 2.48*2.48 = 6.15? Or is it 2.48*2? I am using a 1350 case and the plenary gears from another 1350 in the doubler.
