Well, I lied. I lied twice.
Legs didn’t work worth a damn. We wandered a little bit, and I soon realized I parked in the wrong place. I got there early, to get a spot in the main section, but that was all the rice tuners. After I realized that, little of which is my interest, we went back to the truck.
So I didn’t get any pictures. I should’ve taken a picture of one or two of them, and you would’ve known what the 200 or 300 around me looked like.
What was positive, is even in the center of those guys, the Road Ranger got a lot of attention. I know I built it, but it still surprises me. A lot of that crowd are the younger guys, and they can’t fathom how you actually cut and weld and wire anything more than a stereo or loud exhaust pipe.
A few guys like us too, who informed me where I should’ve parked, in the classics section, which is all the American muscle, and modifieds and Classics. So that’s where I’ll park in July.
I met some old friends, which was pretty nice too, catching up on the car culture in Atlanta.
