Going through Rockauto and Advanced trying to determine the part numbers for:
Spindle Seals/Bearing - Is Spicer p/n 710453 correct? I also see just a seal that Advanced says is p/n 710453?

I also need the seals on the front axle shafts. I'm replacing the u-joints and seals. However searching Rockauto for the seals it seems to indicate the same p/n Advanced has for the spindle seals, p/n 710453?

Can someone tell me the correct p/n for the axle shaft seals and the spindle seals?

I wish the parts sites would offer a diagram with item numbers. That way despite their nomenclature you can pick it out based upon a diagram.

Thanks,

I assume you have the Dana 28? Here's a article with some part numbers in it.

'93 is going to be a Dana 35 axle. Some parts lists show odd things, you'd be better off getting parts for a '93 Explorer as there should only be one front axle available on that. Even on the hybrid axles the outer seals are the same

Can anyone provide a part number for the three items circled? Items 36, 37 & 38. Any reference to a RockAuto, Advanced, Autozone, etc... would be helpful.

I took my shafts out and nothing but the steel ring of the seal on one side and the other side looks like a rubber seal tore into two rings and there is a plastic disc about 1/8" thick with a slightly raised portion on each side, just a couple thousandths thick. Not exactly sure what I need based upon those findings.

Thanks,

We are on parallel paths. I'm at that same juncture.

36 — (2) Slinger
37 — (2) Oil Seal
38 — (2) Spacer – Wheel Bearing Spindle

But no numbers. I can guess at the seal from what's available at Rock, but IDK for sure.
I think this is where you're at:

All of the options and different nomenclature each parts house uses in confusing. This keeps popping up when I search but I'm not confident yet? Hopefully someone smarter can provide a popular parts house p/n? Amazon link to seal

Edit: The more I look at the Spicer parts list and understanding their BOM. The listed numbers below are for '92 nd older, most likely Dana 28. It looks like the Dana 35 may only have an oil seal item 37 p/n 50492. Maybe the parts that fell off mine are a destroyed 50492?

I found these Spicer p/n's
Item 36 link
Item 36 - Drive Axle Shaft Oil Slinger
Item 37 link
Item 37 - Drive Axle Shaft Seal
Item 38 link
Item 38 - Steer Axle Wheel Bearing Spacer

Here is the Assembly w/p/n's.
