I have searched and not been able to find any pictures. I am researching building IFS based on 98+ Ranger geometry on my 88. I know the Toyota swap is popular as well as Mustang II but I am trying to take a different route. I have only found one thread about putting an 88 extended cab on a 98+ frame but I can't get the details I need from that. From the measurements I have take from the frame section I have compared to my 88 neither core support body mounts or the middle body mounts line up and the frame appears to be too wide to fit the 88 cab. I don't expect it to be a bolt on just trying to find some pictures before I jump in and tear my truck apart again for the 5th time, 10th time, I have lost count. If using the frame section is not a clean way to go I can fabricate new section but of course would like to save the time and materials if possible.

Thanks

My credo
it is easier to fix and understand than "her"
Crown vic or aerostar bases I can see.

The ranger setup isn't modular.

I have experience with the Crown Vic swap but it is soo wide. I will be building almost all of the components and that is my main question is it worth it for me to make this frame section that I have fit or just build it all. The other reason I am working on this idea is to have larger brakes, I plan to use Crown Vic knuckles which I already have.

As stated in the first post I am really just looking for pictures, if someone has them of a 98+ frame section grafted into an Ibeam frame.
