I am thinking of looking into a new rimfire.

The Henry Small Game Carbine has my attention.

Anyone else have any 22 mags?

I inherited my grandmother's H&R 676 with a 22 LR and 22 WMG cylinder.

I have yet to actually shoot it yet. I would like a 22 WMG rifle to compliment it.

No more recoil with it, but it is louder. Haven't shot anything with it so I can't attest to that. The ammo is sure a lot more expensive though. I waited till I seen a good deal online and bought a few cases.

Honestly unless you plan on shooting raccoons or other small game, probably not worth the cost. For plinking its better to stick with LR, I figure 22mag will probably get better accuracy at range, like past 100yrds since it'll be moving faster.

I got a 22 win mag marlin. Its better at range than any of my 22lrs. They work good. Less malfunctions with a 22wm then 22lr. I got a cowboy action that came with 2 cylinders I only use the win mag....

To be honest the cost of 22 anything. Doesn't make them cost effective for plinking either anymore.

I have a ruger .22 mag revolver... like @Ramcharger90 said though i can buy 9mm just as cheap as .22 wmg now so its a toy. I bought a henry .357 lever a couple months ago and its my absolute favorite gun yet. Itll shoot .38 and .357 and with the weight of the gun its super soft but has power to actually hunt and ammo is cheap enough to plink with.

I don't even bother with my .22 stuff anymore. Just not cost effective like the old days. Especially mags.

Never seen the need to step up from my .22LR.

.22mag kinda fills a non existent gap in my needs between my .22 and my 5.56.

I have a .357 revolver too..... I might look into a pistol cartridge lever. That sounds like a lot of fun.

I have a Ruger 10/22 Mag... I bought it for night time predator hunting in Michigan. At the time it was the only rifle you could use at night. Well... you can also use a .17HMR. Not sure of the current rules.

But I have the set now... 10/22... 10/22 Mag and a Ruger 44 Mag carbine. It's hard to tell them apart. I love my Rugers...

People kept saying why get a .357 in a lever action, shoot one and you will see why.

.357 just works awesome in a short barrel rifle like a lever action. It's a cheap round, no kick, and lots of power at close range. Its my go-to coyote/home defense gun now.
