Anyone got a video card they no longer use?

I'm looking for a DVI output Video card, I was running an Nvidia 9300 card but as the saying goes "all the magic smoke leaked out of it" last night and it stopped working. (that's what I get for building a computer from recycling center parts...)

And the 5300 card I had as a spare seems to have an issue(it works fine for 5-7min before it starts displaying a multicolored houndstooth pattern and it goes downhill from there...

PCI Express 1x16, I'm looking for anything cheap or free that WORKS
But without it I'm sorta screwed, because my "new" computer has no built-in video and I can't make the 64bit OS work with any of the older PCI video cards I have about...

I have a very very basic DVI PCIe 1X16 card that seems to work but
I know from previous experience that it doesn't play nice with my Monitor

So if someone out there has a video card that wasn't badass enough
and is now being used as home for displaced a dust bunnys...

How are you going through cards that fast? Doesn't seem quite right to me

I have been told after the fact that it was flakey when he pulled it from his system

And it's likely the frst one was bad when I got it...

The card I have in the system now seems to be doing good..(a very basic and minimalistic silicon image DVI card)

Thing is this is a "Recycling center" computer I'm getting up and running
I'm posting with it now but it isn't a wonderful card, the computer itself is
a laugh riot... It's an HP Pavilion Elite D5000t Core2 Quad...

It makes converting video files a breeze, my old system an HP dc7600 dual core machine would take 8-10minutes per 70Mb file with the CPU at 100% useage
the new computer does the job in about 90 seconds and the smaller video files in as little as 20seconds.

I can't wait to see how fast it chews through audio file conversion jobs

It's just that it doesn't display those files or my High Res landscapes as well as it could

As it stands I had to rob a boot drive from another build, and buy some other odds & Ends and I'm kinda tapped... but I finally have a desktop that's faster than my curbside notebook computer (I literally garbage picked my Dell 1525 Notebook Memorial Day Weekend Last Year)

Ah I see. Well if you can find something to keep you going for a little bit, I'm currently running an outdated but still going strong Nvidia 9600GT 256MB PCIx 2 x16 from a company called Apollo. I'm looking at replacing it soon... if I can convince ye olde missus to let me do it. Once I get the new card I'll ship you this 9600GT if you want it.
