Me and my brother in law went. I hadnt been in 20+ years.
They had 4 indoor tracks, 2 for various EV's, and an off road course for the new bronco and jeep had one for the wrangler.
They had a car show in the basement/ground level too of more regular car show type cars, classics, modded stuff, etc....saw some pretty cool stuff there...i didnt take hardly any pictures cause i forgot to charge my phone lol.
Took rides in the bronco (impressive), the jeep (lots of fun) and yes even 4 different EV's (the lines were very short
).
I do feel bad talking shit about the new broncos, i actually want one now. To bad they only tow 3500lbs. Having someone else drive you up a 40* incline is a bit....nerve racking.
The jeep course had more/better obstcales. Rode in a pretty standard gladiator. That also had a 40* incline but was much taller to get to the top.
The EV's....meh. Rode in a blazer, rivian SUV, and a hummer truck. The blazer was the most "normal" feeling, even on the launch pad it didnt feel much different then like....my jeep. Atleast in the passenger seat.
The rivian was probably my favorite one...it was alot quicker then the blazer and felt the most comfy. But i didnt like alot of the things about it (most noteably the lack of interior door handles...i couldnt figure out how to open it)
The hummer was ungodly quick. Like...made me sick quick. But it still wasnt....fun. Engine noise and gear changes add alot more then even i thought it would. It felt like a less clacky amusment park ride.
My favorite thing i seen was the Isos (sp?) Greniader (sp?). I guess its a start up out from some oil guy in the UK. Basically modern takes on the old landrovers. Built in france and powered by a BMW twin turbo I6. Big, boxy, and really cool interiors full of switches. The 75k price tag was more then id spend for one...but i didnt think it was bad for what it is.
Anyways...anyone else go?
Of course...this was my favorite i seen....
