A properly suspensioned Ranger can be safely airborne for up to 4 seconds at a time! =:O
Don't know if the fairly adequate Ranger brakes aren't enough for the add'l weight of RBVs, or if said RBVs attract a different personality type (lulz), BUT... there's a LOT more Exploders and -Tracs at da U-pick-it yard here in So-Fla...

... and they gots da better visors, bumpers, etc... and I've perused the Jim Oaks Library, but no definitive word there on interchangeability... will definitely do the camera and tape measure of the mount-to-frame portion, but...

... that might not tell the tale about INTERFERENCE with tailgate/fender/sheet-metal... ???

If it ain't broke, break it.
Explorer frame rails are farther apart than Ranger so I doubt a bumper would fit.

Thanks much, that's the kind of solid inputs I'm after. Will take pics and measurements before hitting the U-pick yard.
