So my a4ld blew up again a couple months back, I picked up A TK-5 speed today to swap in, and noticed its a couple inches shorter than the auto. Looked in the tech manuals and it mentions when swap to the TK I'll need a shorter front DS and longer rear DS anyone have any part numbers or ideas? I was thinking if I could find another ranger that had a TK and was 4x4 those DS should fit. And my donor Vic was a late 80s bronco 2. Don't know if those woulda fit or not.

You can use the front driveshaft from a BII but not the rear.

I noticed the rear from the donor (b2) had a CV joint.
So pretty much I need to find a 4x4 ranger that has a TK? And then take it's drive shafts?

You will also need a different T-case shifter.

the T-case shifter for the TK5 is unique to that trans and only works on the 13-50 T-case.

Personally I would sell the T-K 5 to someone who NEEDS that trans and locate an M5OD-R1, which uses the same Driveshaft lengths and Crossmember-location as the A4LD
