Picked up a 94 Explorer for $1900 as my new daily. Setting it up for overlanding. Came with brand new 31's so I'll wear them out before going to 33's or possibly gearing down a bit and doing 35's. So far all I've done is winch "9000lb badlands", 4" rough country suspension lift, and built roof rack. Not much but I've only had it for a month and half. Lol.

My credo
Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.
Good start!

Keep your mind like an umbrella, it only works if its open... Continually learning.
Very cool. Might I suggest you doing build threads for the winch bumper and cargo rack. I think they would be great items to have on the site. Nicely done for sure. KUDOS!! :headbang:

Well done! Used a similar design for a hidden winch mount on my Explorer Sport, but with a Duff bumper.

Ramsey REP 8000 - - can see the unit between the bumper tubes and control box behind the grill (and fog light).

These 1st Gen Explorers are pretty capable, with the right mods. Good to have fab skills, as there's not much aftermarket support for these rigs, but pretty sure you're already aware of that. . .

Update. Installed rock lights and light bar on front of rack. Need two more rock lights for front of front tires

You've been busy. I've had my Ranger for 8 years and still haven't gotten the lift on it yet.
