Doing things wrong, until I get it right.
850... you're probably lucky that the receiver didn't blow up in your face. Because you seen it in a movie...doesn't mean you should try it.

EDIT...or split the barrel
Don't think for a second that I pulled that trigger. I was hiding behind the truck, fingers in my ears, waiting to shit my pants. Sometimes me and my buddies talk about all the dumb stuff we did, and wonder " How the hell are we still alive? "
Edit: because we seen it in a movie IS WHY we tried it. lol. You never tried something that you saw in a movie? I thought that was some kind of "right of passage"

Give 'yer balls a tug. Fight me.
If you mean they are good I agree.
I remember searing over the years Mossberg Square known for splitting barrels and receivers. Don't know how true it is. My uncle insist that one did it to him in the 80s or 90s, but until I see one in person that fails due to poor casting or poor workmanship, I always assume it's user error.

Their shotguns are good anyway. Dad's is from 60's, mine was made in '96 and my brother's around '99. Never had a problem with any of them.

Their bolt guns are kind of clunky, I think they made pistols back in the day but I haven't been around them.

I do like the looks of their 464 lever action.

My only experience with mossberg was with a 500 I had for a few years. It was reliable but I absolutely hated how sloppy the slide was on a brand new gun. I sold it and picked up an 870 marine mag. Love that gun.

My only experience with a Mossberg was my buddy's cousin brought a brand new one to a clay shoot we had at Memorial day, and the firing pin wasn't hitting the primer and it had multiple failures to feed.

The real 2.9 of firearms

Have you seen any of the torture tests youtubers have put that thing and other Hipoints through? Gotta give 'em props where it's due. Those things just absolutely refused to go down. They may look like and feel like a brick and accuracy is less than desirable but they will run regardless of the beating you put it through.

Does that mean I'll buy one? Nope.

I do not but have heard good things. The only thing I don't like about them is that they are single action only.
