Here's another option I found. Looks nice. -10AN fittings.

I used generic hydraulic hoses from a farm supply place. They work great and were super cheap. Almost 10 years on my swap now and no leaks.

I ordered my relocation from James Duff, and yes, it has the generic push on rubber hoses with hose clamps....I figure it’s only a matter of time before she leaks. I have also considered just buying more Russell braided hose and AN fittings and making it last a good long time, leak free.

I'm still dealing with oil leaks. I looked into the AN lines and fittings but there are so many options I don't understand. To clarify, is the issue with all push-lock fittings or is it just poor quality fittings provided with the Trans-Dapt kit. I can get different push-lock fittings if that's the issue.

Are you talking about the plastic hose (not rubber) that is incredibly hard to push onto the narbed fittings? I would just have hydraulic hoses made, or buy some Russel brand steel braided -6 AN hose and the fittings, google search how to attach the fittings to the hose, and be done with it

It has the rubber hose with the push on fittings. I finally just got a pair of hydraulic hoses. Only $44, I should've went that route a year ago.

Just buy the L&L products engine side oil filter adapter, Russell 10an fittings and 10an braided stainless line also Russell 10 an fittings. Also order 10an conical seals. Use plumbers dope on the NPT thread side. Im using the cheap Hayden oil filter peice also. No leaks no more problems for now.

I have Trans Dapt kit #1613. It has a 90 degree filter bypass with two inlets & two outlets which eliminates any clocking issues. The kit includes 1/2" NPT plugs to block off the inlet/outlet you don't use. Instead of barbed fittings, use hoses with crimped on 1/2" NPT fittings. I've had it installed for over 15 years & have never had a leak.

Never seen this thread.

Surprised people have issues. The manual gear trucks can use the 2.9 adapter with the stop nipped off.

But using tsc hoses or custom hoses with just the t/d bases, works well and generally sub 60 bux.

The derele and l&l stuff is worth every penny though. Nice stuff.

Neat. I have manual steering and I'd never heard that info. Would've been good to know last year.
