Barely. The raccoon tight? I’m a city kid. We had “sneaky Steve,” the rabid squirrel.

Ranger Rick was a character in a Hanna-Barbera cartoon from the 60s. The main character was Yogi Bear.

Aha, I know what they are. Unfortunately I don’t have any. I actually love those wheels, but I ran up a pile of the bullet hole/outlaw II wheels, so now I’m committed.

Wish I knew earlier, maybe 6 months ago, there were two sets at the pullapart. Not sure if those caps were still on. They’re only $3-4 each. Want me to grab them if I see them? I’m going next week.
Hey Rick, Any update on the center caps? Were you able to source a few from the wrecking yard?

I apologize, life came up and I never made it to the truck yard. I put it on my list, so if I ever get there, I’ll remember

Hey Rick, no worries brother. I was just wondering. I'm sure that sooner or later they'll pop up somewhere. More likely, later. hahaha. If there's anything I've learned about restoring old cars, trucks and motorcycles it's having patience in everything you do. I feel it's more about the journey than the destination.

Amen to that. I’ve never been in the business, but I have sifted through well over 100 cars in my 50 years of driving. I had some really nice iron from time to time but when I got it look in the way I want it in running the way I wanted somebody else just had to have it and I never resisted. It is about the journey

I hear ya! I'll be finishing my 86 B2 Eddie B pretty soon and sadly I'll be selling it. Funny thing is when I first got it I was only thinking about cleaning it, fixing it mechanically and selling it. But as I kept spending time with it, it kinda grew on me. I'm hoping the next owner will feel the same way.

I’ve had a high pressure life, not complaining, just His path for me, lived my life in a 3-piece suit in boardrooms around the world. Working on my toys, and now these Rangers, has always been my therapy. It pulls my head out of the storm clouds, and when I’m done, the thing works or I can at least see what I’ve done. A lot of my career seemed like I was just changing the direction of the wind, except when I built stuff. The building at the end of all the negotiations and strategy and design was always my favorite

I hear you Rick. I've been able to use both my mind and hands in my career. Still, pressure was present; I had the responsibility of a wife and family. Not complaining either; his path for me as well. I wouldn't change a thing. My meditation; working on old Harleys and Jeeps. What makes that work for us is that we have higher level of control over the end result. I'm just a set of shocks and a dash-topper away from finishing up my 86 B2 Eddie Bauer. Then its up for sale. Hate to see her go but I like to see these truck on the road and the smiles they give their owners. Present parties included. Deal is still available; find me some rear center caps and you can have RangeRick. hahaha! Talk again soon.
