i have been searching all over the forum and can not find out how you can have the sas aligned for driving on he highway. i figured you wouldn't be able to use the factory settings when the front axle is different and ride height is higher. asking because i'm interested in doing a sas on my 2001 mazda b3000 4x4.

they'll go by the specs of whatever axle you put in there, so you'll ned to know what the axle came out of.

You might ask around to get a good alignment place, some wont do solid axles or anything not stock, it's good to have a place you can trust. I've taken all my rigs for the last ten years to the same place and they aligned everything from this sas'd ranger to my sidekick on toy axles.

plus some places will try to charge you out the back end for what they call custom work.

It shouldn't cost over $50 unless you need them to replace some parts for some reason.

All they can really set is your toe and caster, if you are running radius arms and have different bushings with you. I work for LesSchwabs and at our store we will do anything someone brings in as long as it isnt something rigged togather. And for mine we went off of the spec for a 79 Bronco cause thats what the axle is out of.

That was a question I had, but figured the specs for what the axle was from would be the safest bet. I will be using an adjustable set of upper arms to set castor, and adjustable lowers to be able to square the axle to the frame...
