No, it's still open but several of the trails have been closed to motor vehicle access. Have yet to make it there, but I will one of these days...

So now that I'm almost somewhat settled into being in Calgary, where are the good wheelin' spots? I've been up to Moose mountain biking a few times and drove around the mountains there. Anything up that way at all? Or any meets coming up?

Too bad the website that We use to organize meets has closed its doors to mew members. But there was a big meet on the 31st so expect one in about a month but it would be a snow run. snow run requires front and rear tow points no exceptions. I need a front one

That might be a problem, I'd need one as well. 2WD friendly?

Not 2wd friendly. there is some pretty steep trails with loose rocks and big drop offs on the sides. you would need a 4x4 to go to the meets

Guess that makes things easy. I'm looking for somewhat tame trails anyways..Gotta be able to use the truck as a DD as well and not have to worry about killing it.

most are DD but still there is muddy spots and its way out in the boonies. there was no damage to my stock b2 just bumpy. they do stocker 100% stocker runs but 4wd+tow points are mandatory for most. get a cheap 1st/2nd gen 4wd to bash around with.
