What's your impression of the qa1 singles so far?
Great. Lot of adjustment. I have them all at 8 out of 16 clicks right now and its stiff but nothing crazy.

Here's how the strut spacers should be oriented. Now the spacer on the bottom could go anywhere but to have the maximum amount of drop you'll want it on bottom. Plus the top nut will clear the MC, but just barely.

Hey guys! I have been following this thread for about 2-3 months now and wanted to say ill be joining the AJE gang very soon! As of about 10 min ago ( with the help of looking at all of the examples in the thread XD ) I purchased my own kit! I have a 1990 Single Cab long bed thats getting a bored/stroked 351w (408) with some twin 80mm turbos from VS racing. A T56 Magnum from RPM Transmissons and haven't fully decided yet but leaning towards a 9in Rear end so im not replacing 8.8 parts all the time. Looking forward to posting my progress and gaining some new knowledge as I go, maybe even making some new friends.

Little bit of everything. Maybe take it the strip on a weekends, cruise to a car show on Sunday morning, and catch some rolls on the way home.

8.8 is plenty strong. What kind of power are you shooting for? A narrowed explorer axle to make it centered would be perfect. I didn’t center mine and my 18x10.5 et 22 with 295s poke a good amount. Should have narrowed to simplify things. I’ll be adding flares eventually to get the stance I’m after. What kind of time frame are you anticipating?

750-850 to the tires, motor should be safe for 1000 but that may only ever be on a dyno and maybe a track. Had a guy who did a similar swap say price for price he would have done a mild 9in but who knows with these supply/demand issues. I have a personal goal of Aug 26th but unless all parts show up on time and I have no issues I’m not sure it’ll be 100% by then at least have a motor in and the new front end so I can start it and feel accomplished 😂

Having also followed this thread for way too long, I too am joining the AJE ranger swap gang. I've got a 93' Ranger Ext Cab short bed that I'll be doing the AJE swap in. Ordered a built 351W stroked to 427 from Woody over at fordstrokers. Should be arriving in the next 2-3 months. I'll probably be starting the project in the next two months or so, once I clear out some room in the garage to begin tearing my truck down. Got lots of parts sitting in boxes until then. T56 Magnum, Tilton flywheel/clutch, Baer front brakes, & much more. Getting excited seeing all this new activity on the thread, I had to let everyone know I'm here too! Mostly going to be a street truck, but going to make sure it's got plenty in it for when it's time to put my foot down. Can't wait to see everyone's builds.

things gonna be a fucking unit man! who are you doing your T56 through? was thinking about RPM they brand new units for about 4700 Lvl6 package. (1000wrtq) all though my build might not see that much but one or two times on a dyno maybe a track but its mainly just gonna be a fun toy to have. The next build will be abused XD
