Airbag recall?

1999 Mazda SEV6. Did it have the f'ed up airbags, and if so, was there a recall, and how do I know if the recall was done if it was needed?

I don't think 1999 had an issue with the air bags.

Thanks. That Ford site says it's not a Ford, Lincoln, or Mercury so no info there.

This place below lists Takata in B-series 2004-2009. Assuming that's correct, I should be ok with my '99.

Got them done in my 04, I believe 99 isn't affected, call your local dealer

Yep, thanks, I get same thing, no problem with '99. I can still call dealer but they'll probably just look it up there.

Oddly, in looking for ANY recalls, what I see is zero recalls on it which would be really weird. Either it was built right, or, I'm not getting complete info.

Don't remember any recalls for my old 98, had that for over 5 years. Previous owner definitely didn't keep it well maintained

Here's the link for my '99 Ranger. Looks like you might have a cruise control recall to check on but that might be it.

I ordered the cruise buttons for the wheel, should get them this week, hope they are correct, they were only 20.

It has been a hastle to get my airbags replaced on my 2005. The nearest Mazda dealer is 5hr drive away. I complained and Mazda agreed to let a local Ford dealer do it BUT now they are saying there are issues sourcing parts due to COVID........

Previous owner wasnt worried about the recall as we are in a low risk area. When I read accounts of the airbags exploding in peoples face I swiftly called the dealer.
