Hi All,
I have an airbag imbalance on a 1997 TRANSCRAFT fixed spread axle 45' flatbed trailer. The front axle airbags inflate as they should, however the rear ones do not.
When empty the front comes up right away with the rear lagging behind taking a long time and never getting up to the same height and they do not inflate more than maybe 1/2 of the front.
When loaded the the front comes up to what looks like proper height to me but the rear is still not anything close to matching the front. Other than a squshed/kinked line what do you think causes this? The previous owner mentioned something about "an electronic system being removed from the inflation system a while back because it was not needed" (she's wackadoodle) but that does not make any sense since we are talking basic brainless hydraulics. So other than a defective leveling valve what should I look for? The pics show airbags when empty.
