Well, I went down and applied at Precision Toyota, one of the largest and most well respected Toyota dealerships in the world, #7 in customer satisfaction. Me and a buddy who also applied just got hired as a new "green team" which handles spark plugs, tire rotations, oil changes, air filters, things like that. I'm working 6 days a week and every 16 weeks I get 2 days off, but hell, it's easy work and good money doing it. Wish me luck guys, I'm off to the dealership side of our work.

Hey, congrats! In todays job market, consider yourself lucky. Where I used to work, they are still laying people off. Some big paper mills here have close but a lot of the times it's the small places that drop off 2-5 at a time.

Well it seems like Toyota is being smart and hiring more and more people these days. They want more people to make them more money.

I've noticed that jobs help when you need to buy stuff too. I'm tired of scrounging up 20 bucks a week to put into my tank.

Yeah that's exactly how I feel about credit cards. I only carry cash.

The only thing good about credit cards is they give you some leverage when you want to go all in. - buying a house, new car, etc. Keep them mofo's in check though. I had a co-worker who moved here from Germany and had 0 credit. he got all the cards he could and payed them all off on time - cha-ching - instant credit.
