Don't get louder, improve your argument.
Does anybody have experienced with putting aftermarket bucket seats in their Ranger? I’d like to put some in, but I don’t know how to weld or fab anything.
Corbeau has some seats/bolt in tracks I can use, but I really don't want to spend $900. No good junkyard finds, Facebook, or Craigslist either.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

Our local junk yards are bad for seats, aren’t they? Seems like everything is ripped or has been bled on, pooped on, covered in spilled food or moldy. I’m still using the Explorer seats I got from you. They look good. But the padding is deteriorating.

I need seats also. Have had the same issue with junk yards. Are Explorer seats a bolt in ? Is there a list of seats that will fit somewhere?

There is a lot of info in our tech library on This Page. You can also do a google search for seats in our forums and you should find a bunch of threads about seat replacements.

The seats I got from @masanders were from a 2001 Explorer. I unbolted the seats from their tracks and they bolted directly to the tracks in my 93 Ranger. That was an easy one.

Bucket seat swaps are fairly easy.

Give 'yer balls a tug. Fight me.
Yard in Pittsburgh is really good for seats, most are like new.

I sold a set of foam and covers to @G8orFord a short time ago, he may be able to attest.

If yall put a thread together of what ones you're looking for, ill snag em if I see em for whatever cost + shipping is.

I don't count birthday's anymore...just happy to be looking down at the ground instead of looking up
Of course, these make more sense....don't even have to look for a rest stop...

the grey-t escape
if just your drivers seat needs replaced, you can use a passenger side seat, thats what I did. Yes, the release lever is on the inside but its a regular cab and I rarely need to mess with the seatback.
fun fact: passenger side seats often have less butt-milage then the drivers seat. (which obviously have every mile )

Mine is the extended cab and also has that console as part of the drivers seat. Wouldn't mind loosing the center console and just having two bucket seats.

Do the 60/40 to bucket conversion.
