Since I have never seen a photo of a Ranger with the Explorer Adrenalin wheels on it, I thought I would post a photo of my truck now that I added these Explorer wheels. I used a 1.25" adapter (1.00" would have been perfect, but I didn't want to deal with cutting down lug studs - wheels are 35mm offset) front and rear. This moves the center of the tire out .25" from stock so it fills the fenders a little better. The 255/50-20 tires are the same diameter as the stock FX4 tires. Since the factory Rancho shocks are too soft, this should help firm up the ride a bit and with any luck will get a little better gas mileage due to the shorter sidewalls. fyi, the Ranger has every option you could get on a 09 FX4 except for missing the keyless entry keypad on the door.

Thank you for sharing this simple build, the wheels look nice. Adrenalin wheel is probably the inspiration behind the KMC wheels Monophonic model, but I'm not sure because this design is pretty common.

Nice. I don't see that many "Adrenalines" around here. Much less one willing to give up it's wheels.

Update - after driving it for a while like that I decided it rides way too harsh with those short sidewalls and the rough roads around this part of the world, so I got these 2000 Mustang GT wheels and painted them gray to match the lower part of the truck and put them on it. This rides much better and looks pretty decent too, I think.

The 17s are Michelin LTX2. Those type Michelins are the best tires I have found for trucks.
