Add seats to 1987 Ranger extended cab?

My son bought a 1987 Ford Ranger extended cab that did not come from the factory with the jump seats. Is it possible to purchase jump seats from a similar year and add them? Right now it just has some storage boxes where the seats would be. Thank you for any help!
