AC stopped working after engine change

I had my 2.5L engine swapped out on my 2001 Ranger because the head gasket blew. Got a used engine to replace the old one. Everything is working fine with it but I noticed my air conditioner isn't blowing cold. It's not blowing warm. My AC would blow ice cold before. Is there something that likely got swapped over that caused this? Or some other issue?

Is the AC Compressor clutch cycling on when AC is turned on?

On "most" vehicles you can leave the AC "freon" lines connected and just move the compressor out of the way enough to remove and reinstall an engine
But if they were disconnected then you need to have the AC system serviced, new receiver/drier and filter, then refilled
