My credo
Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.
I live where it gets 14 feet of snow a year. Fords abs/traction/stability nonsense is overly sensitive to the point of incompatibility with the conditions up here, so I remove its relevant fuse before winter to disable that crap and have the ability to drive it.

Now, this year, I didn't put the fuse back in until I needed to take it in for a sticker (couple weeks ago). When I put the fuse back in, all the lights stayed on.

I checked the fuse, as well as trying a different fuse.. and the fuse is fine.

I disconnected the battery cables, touched them together and let them sit for 5 minutes or so and made no difference.

I do have a scanner that will read abs codes, got it from hazard fraught mabey 5-6 years ago.. BUT.. it won't connect to my truck for abs purposes. Only engine stuff. Perhaps it needs updating? Idk.

Any ideas?

likely has some corrosion or a film on the contacts where the fuse goes in. plug and unplug the fuse a few times to clean the contacts. hope for the best.

Any wheel work since it was last used?

2010 will have an ABS sensor at each wheel, if one is not working then you get the lights
Might unplug and plug back in each sensors wire pair
Same for unplugging and plugging back in the main connector on the ABS unit under the hood

Since it was last used: diff and gears replaced, brakes all around, fr bearings, upper control arms.

I'll give unplugging and plugging back in a shot tomorrow after work.

I know its not a Ford but maybe a similar issue, and its a dealer only fix as far as I know....My 2008 Toyota Tundra had a CEL due to me forgetting to put the gas cap back on all the way. A friend of mine had a scan tool and thought we'd use that to find out what the issue was initially because I had no clue....anyhow he plugged the scan tool in which turned out to also be a programmer for his Dodge Ram 2500. It sent my Tundra into a frenzy every idiot light on the dash was lit up...cost me $95 at the dealership to have it recalibrated.

Since you mentioned having gears, brakes, etc. done since you had the fuse pulled I'm betting you need to have your truck's computer calibration zero'd out by the dealer.

"Back" on the sauce?

That would indicate a "no sauce" period of time

I doubt this is the case. unless he replaced some sensors that needed to be addressed to their positions.

My bet, one of the flags on the rotors is missing or messed up. So the sensor is not seeing the pulses from the flag when the wheels are moving.
