I am going to delete the ABS from my 2001 Ranger. I just upgraded the rear brakes to SSBC discs and have the proportioning valve ready to be installed over the weekend. Since I want the ABS gone, would there be any foreseeable problem with yanking the ABS module and replacing it with the pro valve? They have the same number of ports after all.

Probably no problem with the plumbing side of things. But the network in the truck would not like the ABS module to be missing and not being able to talk to it.
