I know someone selling 2 slightly used rockford fosgate 10 inch subs hx2's

•dual 4ohm voice coil design
•CONsealer gasket hides mounting screws and provides airtight seal
•LXcursion basket features a deep step that keeps the spider from "bottoming out" and distorting your sound.
•frequency response 30-200 Hz
•power range 150-500 watts RMS (250 watts per voice coil)
•peak power 1,000 watts
•sensitivity 85 dB SPL
•top mount depth 5-7/16"
•sealed box volume 0.2-0.75 cubic feet
•ported box volume 0.75-1.75 cubic feet

they are the specs.

anyway he is selling them with a dual 10 box thats a car box which i cant use but hey its always good to have a few spare boxes laying around and he also has a custom built box for a std cab ranger that fits behind the seat and only holds 1 sub which i can use in my ranger i will just build another to match the one hes including anyway he wants 200.00 for both subs and both boxes. N e one think its worth it?

I had a set of the HX2 12's a few years back and the hit like hell in my sunfire in a bandpass box w/ a fosgat BD1000.1 amp. But truthfully at the time I had a S10 and ried to put them in it and as big as a box as I could build and comfortably drive They did not sound as good as my Alpine Type S 10's. But If you got the room for a big ported box they are worth the money.

i would say no. for that you could get alot better subs
also i never buy used drivers, just there normal life aside, were they abused? did they get alot of clipping? was the box build really the right size so it doesnt over heat and warp anything, under powered or over powered ect, jus two many questions.
